"Beşbarmaq" or "Beshbarmak": Kazakh National Food made from Horse Meat

I have come back to my blog after a long time. There is not much happening in Astana, in my life and is there hardly anything that I can write. It is cold in Astana and this year, temperature has dropped till -25 degree Celsius. However, many people are saying that this year is not as cold as previous years and they say that there may be early spring. If things go, as they say, it is great.

This is my first year in Astana/Kazakhstan and I have mixed reactions about life here. I don't consider this city really to be great in terms of ease of life but again, which city does not have problems? So, we need just to be happy wherever we are.

In the post, I am going to write in short about Kazakh National Food and would like to share a photo. My information on Kazakh National Food "Beşbarmaq" or "Beshbarmak" is really short as there are plenty of other sites from where you can read about it.

It is a food made from boiled horse meat, traditional Kazakh National Pasta, and Onions. It is the best and most sought after "Beşbarmaq" or "Beshbarmak" but instead of Horse Meat, you can also use Goat/Sheep (mutton) meat.
